You downloaded a set of CSV files from PC5E for your Anytone AT-D878UV/D578UV. This file describes what to do with it. Note: instead of a single codeplug file, this is a set of CSV files to import. That way: - versions do not matter (at least not if you run a recent CPS/FW version) - the type of 878/578 does not matter - since you start with a blank codeplug, you avoid strange errors caused by artifacts in an old codeplug file - you might still need to have your radio set to MODE0000 for all channels tom import without errors If you extracted this Readme file, all of the files you need are already in one folder/directory. Start the CPS matching the firmware of your 578/878, go to menu File -> New, next go to menu Tool -> Import. If you see a warning about old CSV files, click OK. On the Import popup click on Import From File List and select All.LST from the folder the file is in. It will ask you if you want to import, click Yes. Now wait patiently until a popup shows Import Complete!, click OK. All CSV files are now imported, but most settings are not (they cannot be imported). Open the file Optional settings.txt for your model and change all settings mentioned there. Do not forget to change the dummy DMR ID (2040000) in Digital -> Radio ID List to your own ID Do not forget to change your callsign in APRS If you want, you can now import the digital contact list from the seperate folder. Enjoy your codeplug! Robert Elsinga, PC5E / WC5E
